"THIS WAS ONE OF THE NICEST HOTELS I HAVE BEEN IN IN TH DR. RUEBEN AND HIS STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL.ROOMS WERE CLEAN,FOOD WAS GREAT, AND AMBIANCE WAS IMPECCABLE. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN."

"My room was lovely, very clean, and comfortable. The room overlooked the pool - I was at the center of everything. The staff was so helpful and kind, from the driver (Luis) they connected us with to the wait staff, cook, bartenders, maintenance, and a welcoming reception. The food was absolutely lovely, fresh, and the taste was amazing! We celebrated my son's 11th birthday there. I can't wait to return. My one regret was that I had zero time to enjoy the yoga classes. But I will return soon."

"The location is alright about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff is friendly and carried one of our heavy suitcases upstairs to our room. The rooms look nice, but had dead bugs in the corners and little issues. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch closed and the towel rack fell off of the wall when I took my towel off. The shower water was lukewarm most of the time and very hot and difficult to control other times. Some of the wall electrical outlets didn’t work. Overall the rooms were spacious and looked nice. The kitchen and dining room was large and had dishes in the cupboards. There was a 5 gallon water cooler for refilling water bottles. Most of the hotels in the area had a restaurant, however this one doesn’t, so we walked to other hotel restaurants."

"The home is beautifully positioned on the ocean in a quiet, gated area with walking access to several restaurants and local surfing areas. Staff are excellent and keep everything neat, organized and meals are delicious. We were locked out one evening and host available immediately and contacted local staff. We waited less than 10 minutes and security with us the entire time. The home is nicely decorated, many spaces for shared entertaining with ample hidden areas to go and read, relax or even work. This is our second trip and we are returning again soon. Three side rooms provide ample privacy, but easy access to main living area. It rained a lot during our week and it was still a perfect time. "

"Room was very spacious with a separate kitchen/dining, living room and bedroom. The amenities are great too - an amazing gym, lap pool and a rooftop restaurant! Nice short walk to the beach. Perfect location for a surfing holiday and reasonably priced. "

"Host and assistants were extremely helpful and responsive. Upon arrival, someone was available to help with out bags, give us a tour, showed us tips and tricks, and even provided coconuts from the trees on the property. Overall, the house is exactly as described - beautiful pool, terrace, etc. There are so many ammenities included - full kitchen with appliances, utensils, and accutraments, pool towels, grill, etc etc. The only issue is the location. On VRBO, the positing makes it seem like the house is on or near Playa Encuentro. It is not. The actual address was not provided until after checkin at 3pm. Its actually located between Playa Encuentro and Cabarete, no where near the beach. Lost a because of deceptive location marketing. The house is, otherwise, amazing. "

"We STRONGLY NOT recommend this Hotel. When we arrived it was pouring rain and it took hotel attendant more than 20 minutes to walk us one by one with the smallest umbrella ever to the reception area. Obviously we were drenched. We met the Owner that charged us an extra $100 dollars in cash for 2 rooms with AC because we had mistakenly reserved the rooms with no AC. The smaller rooms toilet and AC wasn’t working. The bigger room had a non working Jacuzzi and dirty sheets. There were only 2 staff members on site. The attendant was Receptionist, Handyman, Bartender, Security and then some. The cook was also the massage therapist. We stayed 1 night and in the morning met a guest with her 18 year old daughter who had gotten food poisoning from the hotels food. We did NOT wait a single minute longer and we packed up all our luggage’s and ran to the next doors hotel NATURA CABANA to ESCAPE our Hotel Nightmare experience! We woke up in the middle of the night with a Tarantula in our bed that sneaked into our luggage from Ecolodge. We should be reimbursed or even get paid for our HORRIBLE experience. "
