"My husband and I often travel to Traverse City to visit our daughter. We like to make it a vacation so staying on the lake is important to us. The hotel that we usually stay at was booked so I booked the Parkshore. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet on Sunday. The weekday continental breakfast looked nice but we didn’t partake. My husband was dying to try the prime rib in the lounge but we couldn’t make it happen this time. We spent some time sitting on the beach, reading on our balcony, and just generally vegging out. We don’t unpack our suitcases and there was plenty of space for that. Our room had a small sofa and an extra sink outside the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. My only negative comment is that the small refrigerator made some annoying noise which was only noticeable overnight when all was quiet. Check in and check out we’re both very easy. We may have found a new place to stay in TC."
