They are comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated to a very good standard. This tranquil spot boasts footpath walks on the owners’ 280-acre arable farm, an undercover courtyard and an indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub. Ely, 6 miles, occupying the largest island in the Fens, has a history dating back to Hereward the Wake and later, Oliver Cromwell. Its superb 11th century cathedral is surrounded by monastic buildings, medieval gateways and narrow streets leading down to the marina and river walks. King’s Lynn and Cambridge are easily accessible. Shops, riverside inns and restaurants at Littleport, 3 miles.. All properties: Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and Highchair. Shared laundry room with two washer/dryers. Shared undercover courtyard and furniture. Shared covered barbecue area with gas barbecue. Parking. Shared indoor heated swimming pool 7m x 3m, depth 1.2m, open all year 9am - 7pm (private use by arrangement between 7pm - 9pm) with changing room, shower cubicle and toilet. No smoking.

lovely big bungalow with plenty of living space,all bedrooms are very spacious ,you are away from the hustle of normality and can sit back and relax waking in the morning to the birds singing . then sit down in the dinning areas and wait for the squirrels rabbits and pheasants to come into the garden,or go and have a swim and later have a go in the hot tub. Nice spacious cottage, plenty of room. Pool nice but hot tub out of action when we stayed which was disappointing as had especially looked for that when booking. Also would have been nice to have had a welcome pack of essentials such as milk and maybe biscuits and tea bags

Kestrel is homely with a well equipped kitchen.

Kestrel is homely with a well equipped kitchen. It's VERY spacious and also has a private garden area and a small shared swimming pool, that our 7 year old loved. The owner, Sue was very friendly and generally onsite. It's in the middle of nowhere and all the roads off the A10 to get there are extremely bumpy and potted so you need to drive very slowly, but we found that fun and different. Nearest amenities are in Littleport which is around a 3 mile drive away. It has a large Co-Op and reasonably priced pub grub.

The cottage was lovely clean and well equipped However the pool was cold and the hot tub not working. On enquiring about it we just got excuses. Also the pool was very small. The site accommodates 24 people in all. If full the pool would be impossible to use.
