"The hotel is very clean, beautiful, and spacious. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, and the staff made us feel at home. Breakfast was also very good. There is underground parking available, and if you stay at the hotel, you can validate at the reception for £10 per day, which I think is very reasonable."

Within walking distance or many excellent bars and restaurants and immediately on top of the canal/river area. "Good value and close to the station. 10 minutes walk to the old town.Automated check in was a bit off putting but there is someone to talk to and the computer did eventually allow me to check in 30 minutes early. The only snag was the luggage storage room which is accessed by a card but no obvious supervision of who does this so did not feel very secure."
