The fee for our dog was super reasonable and they had a nice area outback to walk our dog. The reviews I had read say the property was ‘dated’ and ‘old’ but it is clear they are upgrading the rooms. Our bathroom was a bit dated...

"The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy farmhouse in the country. Our host, Ray, told us the rich history of the house which made it even more special. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was very clean! It was a perfect place for our family to gather. The nearby town of Ellsworth offered plenty of restaurants, and the 30 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia was beautiful!!"
