"The stay was great; the kids and I enjoyed it very much. - The rooms were clean. - The host was quick to respond.- Nice views of the lake.- The eagles were active throughout the day, very interesting to watch You can't see it in some of the pictures but there is a nice little beach front. We had only stayed 2 nights and were thinking of staying another night unfortunately we did not. It was relaxing and secluded. Would like to stay here again!"

"Our stay at the cabin was great! The property is a beautiful, well-maintained spread with lots of trees and a view of the lake. The house was extremely well-stocked with essential items and entertainment. Far beyond anything we could’ve wanted! The host was great at communicating, the quickest to respond of any rental we’ve ever stayed at. We were able to dock our 20 foot bay boat with no problem on the floating dock which made going out on the lake daily much more efficient!"

"We had a wonderful stay! Our host met us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the place. We arrived to some freshly baked goodies that we’re absolutely phenomenal, they had bubbles for us around the ready to go fire pit, we made s’mores, blew bubbles, used the kayaks, went fishing, saw lots of wildlife, and explored some surrounding areas. The cabin was absolutely perfect for a couples get away and one we’ll keep in mind if we ever spend another weekend out in east Texas."

"The property is beautiful with amazing views of the lake as soon as you turn into the driveway, open the living room or bedroom blinds, or step out onto the huge back deck. Everything you could need to have a great trip is available; coffee bar with syrups, cookware, dishes.... It takes less than a minute to walk down to the waters edge, and there is a public boat dock less than a mile away. We love this home and are always sad to leave at the end of a trip. Host was very responsive to messages and so very polite. We love renting this place, this was our 3rd trip here and we are looking forward to next summer already."

"This was a beautiful spot on the lake. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy. The kitchen has all of the basics to cook a meal but there are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. We HIGHLY recommend Austin St Bistro in Jefferson. The water in the cove is clean and calm. This lake is definitely a hidden gem as there were very few boats or people seen over our week long stay. The neighborhood is charming and the neighbors were friendly. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in the area:)"

"We were a group of 11 ranking from young adults to 81 years. The house never felt crowded. There is seating to eat for 14. The view is absolutely beautiful and calming. Young folks really enjoyed the paddle boat and 3 kayaks, nice kayaks. Life jackets were provided as well. Never felt one mosquito. They have automatic misting 3 times daily. Loved the covered area. The boys caught lots of little catfish from the bank. Water is shallow so good for little ones. The king size bed in master bed room is very high. I had to use a little ice chest for a step up. No kidding! It’s high. One thing I love was there were Kleenex everywhere. I suffer from allergies. The master bath shower has no grip bars or no mat in shower. Needs at least a mat. Only other small negative was there are only 2 dish towels. That is not enough Overall it was a fantastic stay and we already plan to go back next year. Again the view is wonderful and the house is very spacious. Oh, one other thing there is a fire pit with seating around for enjoying smores. Wood is provided. Lots of board games, books etc and even a ping pong table. 10 stars"
