"The reception staff were very welcoming, but don’t look happy in their jobs. The restaurant/ bar staff were very helpful and polite, only fault was they let people vape while sitting at the bar. We had breakfast and evening meal the food was 10/10 something for everyone, best porridge I have had in a hotel. The room was nice comfortable beds, they need a little bit more of a clean, dust on the door frames was thick and bathroom door on the inside was sticky and dirty. Room 215 Overall the stay was nice, I would recommend and stay again."

Here is a short list of the issues: no air conditioning, water stains on the ceiling and the floor, dirty shower curtain that clings to your body, no housekeeping or fresh towels, it smelled of mothballs and rotting fruit. The only redeeming things were the International BeatleWeek festivities. The event was well-run and a ton of fun."
