When I got into my room, though, I found a few things from the last guest that made me question if the room had actually been cleaned. And, it should be noted that if you want a view of the red rocks behind the hotel instead of a view of the road, you have to book a double queen room instead of a king. I asked for a view but they told me that wasn't possible with a king bed and that they couldn't change my reservation because i booked through hotels.com so that kind of sucked. "

The king bed was very comfortable, though we would have liked a couple of squishier pillows. The hotel was conveniently located but the road noise was slightly disturbing. The staff, Joseph, at the front desk was friendly, informed and all-around excellent."
