Lovely pool, great location and very friendly staff who went over and above to help us.

This place is a welcome sanctuary from the hustle a bustle of Kampot. We did some day trips to kep markets and Kampot pepper farm which were easily organised by the hotel. They also easily organise a scooter for the day for us to visit bakor mountain. The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from Kampot town, however is was easy to organise for the hotel to drop you in to town and get a grab tuk tuk for about $2. This was a once in a lifetime stay. The property is immaculate - spacious, but very few rooms, so it feels like you're all alone in paradise. Best of all, however, is the staff. Top notch service from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended. We very much look forward to returning.

Staff were really helpful, above and beyond. Motorcycle hire easy to arrange, great price. Room very clean and tidy, well presented. Mattress not too hard, pillows good. Shower not next to toilet! Great pressure. Free toiletries. About 1.4 km from crab market, easy walk. Great place to stay and would highly recommend Khmer House Guesthouse.

Veranda Resort is absolutely unique! Set amongst tropical gardens and the use of stone and timber in all buildings is awesome. Loved the Infinity pool and the garden pool. Both really well maintained and look beautiful. We were sad to leave.

Great resort very close to the crab markets, enjoyed the pool & sunset views from the bar. Room very comfortable with excellent aircon, staff helpfull. Amazing tasty fresh seafood at any of the crab market restaurants (we stayed 4 nights & tried most of them) would visit again.

I loved my stay at Bird of Paradise. It was just so peaceful and relaxing. Steve is a wonderful host with so much information if you need it. The porch among the leaves is a perfect place to have a cold beer. There is a store five minutes away with everything you need. A ten minute walk will get you to the crab market, where you can either buy from a vendor, squid, fish, crab, chicken, with the pepper they rave about, and it is worth raving about. This is a lovely hotel that is trying really hard to be responsible tourism operators. The staff were great and the many little complimentary touches during the day were lovely. The sailing club is a must for any visitor to kep. Picture perfect view too. Loved it.
