"Hotel is beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Location was fantastic.....right in the midst of many restaurants and historical sites. Will definitely stay with them again if I'm in the area. Only negative was that they charge a daily parking fee. Should be included in cost of stay."

"We stayed two nights to see Hyde Park. Check in was easy. Our room was very clean and tidy. Parking was free. The continental breakfast was standard - kept us energized for the day ahead. For the money spent, it was a great value."

"The Journey Inn is a delightful Bed and Breakfast! Our hosts, Val and Eric, were wonderful and their suggestions on everything from dining choices to what to do and when to do them were all spot on! I suggest that you seek their advice before you travel so that you don't have to make any last minute changes! Just a few of their helpful suggestions: Go to the FDR Museum earlier in the day. It will take several hours if you do it right. Also, wear a sweater. They keep it rather cool inside. We did the FDR house on one day, the museum on the second day. I suppose you could reverse this. Thank you Val and Eric!!"

"The setting was beautiful. Close to the FDR Presidential Museum and Vanderbilt House. Walked down to the Hudson River and met local history and train buffs with lots of good advice and information. The kitchen was complete and the place was spotless. The steps are steep to the upper bedrooms but not a problem. Sitting on the front porch in the evening listening to the waterfall was lovely too."

"Had a great stay in the cottage. It was very clean and quiet. We had a problem with one of the AC units but it was our error. My advice would be to read all the lovely directions. They are plentiful and helpful. Host was responsive and helpful."
