"Our cottage was spacious, clean, and super convenient to the national park at Tikal (walking distance). We ate at the restaurant 2x and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend staying at this property if you’re visiting Tikal. "

"The room and amenities are just as described. Due to the location and infrastructure of the island/inlet (isla de flores) they seem to get a lot of electrical issues often. We visited when the weather was above 30 degrees Celsius, and on the first night, our AC stopped working. The staff initially stated that the mechanical workers couldn't come until the morning to fix the problem, but the room got unbearably hot without AC. Thankfully, the night hotel staff tried until they were able to reset the breaker, and the AC resumed working. However, the next day there was an ~8-hour period during which the entire island had a power outage. I understand this was out of the hotel's control. Bring a headlamp just in case of these outages! "
