We absolutely loved our stay at Lio Villas! The staff were some of the best—super accommodating and genuinely welcoming. The pool and food were both amazing. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot away from the crowds, this is the perfect place. They offer motorcycle rentals and tours, and they’ll gladly arrange everything for you. We really appreciated how well they took care of us from start to finish.

I had an amazing experience staying at Lio Villas Resort. The place was clean, peaceful, quiet and had all the amenities guests could hope for. The staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful, polite, attentive and were very accommodating. I highly recommend this resort for anyone who wish to have an incredible experience.

I stayed here on August for a solo trip. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I also really loved the room that I stayed in as it was very spacious. The only concern that I had was not being given a discount when the management offered to give me one before I checked in due to the pool being not available. The reason why I booked the hotel despite the location was the pool. Would have appreciated the stay more if they processed the discount or partial refund as they promised but they didn't get back even after 3 months have gone by. Nevertheless, the best thing about the place were the staff.

I asked for a late checkout and was initially told it would be no problem as there was nobody booked after us, but alas apparently the manager had a problem with that. I was willing to overlook problems because of the late checkout, but now I will air my grievances. The AC unit upstairs was not working, and there was no phone so I could not report this. It was pouring rain and no umbrellas so I could not go to reception. No TV in room as advertised. WIFI was VERY slow or not working at all. There was no hot water for shower. No restaurant on sight. A stinky dog hanging around lobby area. The pool was nice and so was the gentleman working reception. Will not return.

The property does not have direct access to the beach. You need to walk say…..10-15 minutes to reach beach.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff, while mostly new, provided good service. However, the area was a bit inconvenient, since it was located off an unpaved road that you had to constantly rent a tricycle to get around the area. Since tric fare was a bit pricy, the costs added up. Plus, they did not have their own van to provide as transpo for guest to and from the airport.

Nice place, but have to improve some issues

The place is nice (nice bedrooms, nice pool) and staff are nice but there are son issues they need to address. They do not accept card payments or dollars. We are in the 21st century and this in not a cheap hotel, I don’t think this is acceptable at any descent hotel. How can be possible on this days that a quality hotel does not take card payments. Also we needed to change some reservations and they said the only have incoming calls not outgoing. Im talking about local calls. Hope they fix that as well. Also the hotel is on a very bumpy road and a little far from El Nido (It has a very nice beach close by though, Lio Beach) some times tuk tuks don’t want to take you there or they charge you more. I don’t think they can do much about it. I still believe this is a nice hotel, just hope they fix this issues. Just be aware if you decide to stay.

My wife and I choose the Lio Villas Resort for our vacations in El Nido. We didn’t Regret it. Charming and peaceful hôtel with a professionnal and really Nice team. Nous avonq choisi cet hôtel plus de 10 jours avant notre départ car nous trouvions le rapport qualité-prix excellent. En arrivant, nous avons appris que l'hôtel avait fait de l'overbooking et qu'aucune autre chambre n'était disponible. A l'accueil, nous avons été prié de partir sur le champ. Ils ne nous ont pas aidés à trouver un autre hôtel ni proposé à boire. Après quelques minutes, ils ont même coupé le générateur d'électricité pour nous empêcher d'aller sur internet, de consommer leur forfait. Impossible également d'apporter la preuve qu'ils ont effectivement prévenu expédia. En outre, expédia aurait été informé de l'overbooking et ne nous a jamais contacté préalablemenr. Le jour même, malgré plusieurs emails, Expédia ne nous a jamais aidé et aujourd'hui, il refuse d'intervenir dans les frais complémentaires que nous avons eu. En bref, méfiez-vous de l'hotel...et d'expedia. Tout cela semble peu sérieux.

The place was very nice. The staff were super accomodating and very hospitable. The only issue was proximity. It was far from the town proper, appoximately 20 to 30 minutes away, and the tricycle fares were a little bit expensive (400 roundtrip). The road going to the hotel from the main road was a rough road (less than 10 minute rough road). There was a frog and a worm swimming in the pool at night. One hanger was broken and the phone wasnt working in our room. But overall, im still a happy customer.

El hotel lo que es el personal del hotel comida etc... era estupendo les doy un 10. Lo único que deben mejorar es las habitaciones no tienen nevera y con el calor que hace allí es importante, el wifi fatal, la ubicación tb está apartado de todo hay que coger moto para todo, y en nuestra habitación no había mosquitera en otras vi que si debería haber en todas. Por el resto muy contentos.
