Petite guesthouse avec de la Gentillesse mais il ne faut pas attendre plus de leur part. Déjeuner possible continental ou philippin pour 120pesos. moustiques dans l’environnement (Jardin) et il vaut mieux demander un set : tenté en tulle pour être protégé la nuit.

The rooms were filthy, the bathrooms were horrible. No WiFi, I asked the staff, they said, they haven’t paid the internet bill. don’t recommend this place.

Staff communication lacking

Cliffside Cottages was a nice place to stay in El Nido. It is on edge of town on Rizal St but only 300 metres from the main part of town. There appeared to be only one member of staff who knew anything. Luckily she was always within hearing distance to come and save me from other staff misdirecting me. Telling me I had no booking, or my laundry which was all done wouldn't be back until tomorrow, etc. So more staff training would help. I would stay again.

Unhygienic

The staff is very approachable. What made me really disappointed was the quality of the water, it was so yellowish and smelled rustic. The room was not well lit and you could hear noises outside so relaxation was compromised.

Interesting stay

It was a cool concept of a cottage, kinda felt like camping. It was clean and all, although water would shut down regularly as well as the power (which i think is normal for el nido). I did not bool a room with aircon. Which is why I decided to leave to a place with aircon at the same value. Overall a decent retreat from the average hotels.

cheap, but not the most comfortable

The fan-only room was quite loud. Lots of noise from the nearby street because of the open windows. Also, on my last day, the drain to the shower flooded (water came from neighboring room). Smelled pretty bad.

Cabañas económicas

Alojamiento básico , no se puede pedir más por el precio pagado. Regentado por una familia, ellos te reservan tours y traslados . Desayuno a la mesita de tu cabaña por 100 pesos.
