"This hotel has the wow factor. The room was huge and looked amazing. Important things first, the bed was very large and very comfortable. We slept very well. The shower was lovely too- took a while to heat up, but that is the only negative. The people who worked at the hotel were lovely too... they were very helpful and friendly. The only real negative is the air conditioning was noisy, but as we were there in November we opened the windows in the evening and let the cool air in, and the room remained a good temperature. The one thing that could have made our stay even better would have been a bar. We could find neither a bar nor off licence in the local area, but bought some in other areas of Tunis and used the fridge to good effect. All in all, we had a thoroughly super stay and would recommend this hotel. "

"On our last night in Tunisia, we were supposed to be back at the hotel (picked by our operator) where we started the tour. However, we could not do it again. We wanted a hotel with actual amenities, working AC & not under renovation with filthy floors like the other. Hotel le Consul was well-located, clean, modern inside, with a great breakfast (including an espresso machine), fitness center, bath tub and working AC. We are so happy we chose to stay at Hotel Le Consul. We slept comfortably & they helped with our airport taxi in the morning. "
