The Taxidriver calls the owner and she comes to guide you to her place.... and this place is just marvellous, only three spaciuos,newly furnished rooms in traditional style in the first floor aroud a gallery, each with own modern bathroom. "On our last night in Tunisia, we were supposed to be back at the hotel (picked by our operator) where we started the tour. However, we could not do it again. We wanted a hotel with actual amenities, working AC & not under renovation with filthy floors like the other. Hotel le Consul was well-located, clean, modern inside, with a great breakfast (including an espresso machine), fitness center, bath tub and working AC. We are so happy we chose to stay at Hotel Le Consul. We slept comfortably & they helped with our airport taxi in the morning. "

The charming old mansion, nestled in the heart of Tunis, boasts a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the fresh citronnade was a refreshing touch. We’ll definitely be back! The only downside is that the stairs might be a bit challenging for elderly guests, but everything else was perfect....merci again "
