I arrived at 2:30 pm to find no one there and no information on checking in or how to contact anyone. I waited 2 hours and then walked up the road to find help. I found a man who made a phone call and said someone would be over shortly. I returned to the hotel and after 45 minutes a couple showed up. It was 6:30 pm and I was very hot and frustrated. "We had a lovely night at the lodge. It was a family run hotel who made us feel so welcome.
The bed was huge and comfortable, the family were on hand for absolutely anything. They even came running out with umbrellas as we headed out for a walk in the rain.
The food was fresh and delicious. Breakfast was served outside our room on the veranda, which was fantastic and quite simply the best omelette I have ever tasted.

"Excellent location, clean, friendly, and great breakfast. Highly recommend. Only caveat- the outdoor area on the water shown in photos is actually a couple blocks from the rest of the hotel. Not a big deal, but I was surprised. "

"Our stay was amazing and the place is lovely! We arrived in Santa Cruz on our first day and spent a night at Blu Galapagos and on our last day, spent our final night there. Our second night we asked for an upgrade with an ocean view and it was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant that is not associated with hotel, but is on location was one of the best meals we had on our trip and the view is right on the water and you can see sharks and raise and fish swimming while dining. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely return there."
"The best place to stay! The staff were always helpful and they helped me keep my reservation when flight was not able to happen at last minute. They kept rooms cleaned phenomenally everyday. I did not want to leave. The location to downtown and harbor was excellent yet far enough from the noise! Never miss a chance to stay there!"
