"We recently stayed at Casa Suarez, and overall had a pleasant experience. The property was clean and generally as described in the listing. We felt very safe during our stay, and the host was excellent with communication — responsive and helpful.The home is located about a 10-minute drive from Sámara, so it’s convenient if you have a vehicle. A rental car is definitely needed to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops. There is a mini mart within walking distance that was very well stocked.The outdoor space and pool were highlights of our stay — we really enjoyed relaxing there. One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is noticeable noise from nearby traffic, barking dogs, and chickens, particularly at certain times of day.The reliability of the utilities during our stay, caused some inconvenience, but this is to be expected in Costa Rica, and the host did make efforts to address the issue.Overall, this is a good option for travelers who plan to have a car and don’t mind some typical rural noise while staying near Sámara."

"Pierre’s house is new and full of every amenity you could need! The house and all the beautiful glass doors were spotless. We stayed with a family of 5 and throughly enjoyed the two large bathrooms and three large rooms. Each room having built in storage shelving was incredibly convenient. The master King bedroom with patio doors to the pool was amazing. The kitchen has tons of cupboards for storage and all the appliances needed. The neighbourhood is quiet, and private. The pool side faces a ravine and we heard howler monkeys, and saw many birds everyday. Very Short drive to Playa Carrillo which we loved for the gentle waters. We could float and bob with our children all day. Tons of parking and locals selling food. We loved Playa Samara for learning to surf as it has a little more wave. We loved the massive laundry line. Pierre was extremely polite and attentive, we felt very well taken care of. The beds were a little firm for our family, but that is personal preference and the are definitely BRAND new and sure to be broken in shortly. A TV in the living room would be handy for down time on the super comfy couch! We will absolutely refer friends and fellow travellers here and strongly recommend to all! "

"Our host Nury was amazing. She greeted us at the gate, gave us the keys and provided information about the house and the neighbouring town. She even provided beach toys for my granddaughter! The house is beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool. So much fun to see cows and horses next to the veranda. The house is fully equipped. "

"Our family of 10 just completed a terrific ten day stay at Casa Mesakeca. The host (Sue) was very gracious and easy to communicate with and the local manager was equally helpful and communicative. The house is beautiful, spacious and well appointed with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We had plenty of room to spread out as needed and the large living area, kitchen, dining area and pool also made it easy for the 10 of us to enjoy family meals and fun. The setting is peaceful and the drive to town and the beach is short (5 minutes or so). There are sufficient pool and beach toys, chairs etc. on site to support fun in or beside the water in either location. We all agreed it was a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay and we’d definitely be interested in rebooking the next time we return to Samara."
