"Cabanas Alechen was just the perfect place to stay!! Alejandro and Eduardo were SO kind, they brought homemade bread and pastries for breakfast, they treated us like family. The Cabana had everything you need, excellent beds and pillows, all was perfect! If we come back this will be definitively our place to stay. "

"We enjoyed the cabin setup. There was plenty of space for two of us but also an extra bed in the living room and two in the loft would make it a great place for a family. The kitchen was well equipped, and the property is a few minutes walk from the strip of restaurants and stores in downtown Calafate. Breakfast was pretty good, including fruits and breads, ham/cheese, and scrambled eggs (the eggs were the only hot cooked option)."

"The staff at the desk was very friendly and gave me great tips on how to navigate Calafate. The room was decorated with good taste, clean and cozy. The breakfast was not super, but the view from the cafeteria was to die for."

"The hotel is fine. In a good, not great, location, as it is a fairly long walk into the city center. Hotel is clean. Good hot water. Comfortable bed. Having said that , it needs updating. "

"There is a special place reserved in the review world to hotels like Kosten Aike. It is that of a hotel that embraces the environment it is set in and makes the guest’s experience more complete.
This was how I felt during my four night stay at Kosten Aike. From the moment I arrived and throughout my visit, I was greeted by helpful, attentive and friendly staff - from the reception (special thank you to Ernes!) to the dining room to the spa.
The room I stayed in was clean, cozy and comfortable. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant on one of the nights and was pleased with the variety of local options to choose from (try the trout!). I found the breakfast menu fresh, with many delicious offerings and especially enjoyed the large variety of baked goods, all made in house.
I did appreciate the attention the hotel gives to sustainability, especially being in a city surrounded by nature at its most majestic.
All in all a comforting, unique experience, as befits a place like El Calafate

"LOVED this property and the staff!! Super code to the Main Street, walking distance to everything I needed. Only thing of note is that the bed was hard as a rock. Excellent stay!"
"Desde antes de mi llegada se preocuparon de mi hora de llegada, si tenía las facilidades de movilización. Ely es súper amable, atenta, hospitalaria. Gracias por una experiencia tan bonita! "
"This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. It's a boutique hotel with five-star service. Rosa and Matías and the other staff are phenomenal. They made us feel like family. The breakfast buffet is a huge and delicious spread. There are cafes and restaurants close by, but the street is quiet. It's a few minutes walk from the beautiful Nimez nature reserve. Truly, we did not want to leave this gem of a hotel. Calafate is a wonderful base to explore this area of Patagonia. It was a trip of a lifetime. "
