"This was our sixth visit to Alsace over the past 25 years. This meant we had a clear idea of which villages were appealing to stay in, both in terms of their location and their beauty. Additionally, we had quite a list of things that the property MUST have - e.g. a useable kitchen in case Covid policies limited access to restaurants and air conditioning in case it was as hot as when we visited Alsace in August of 2016 and temperatures hit 95F/35C or more all week.
