"Quaint little place right off the River Dee in Aboyne. They have taken care to make sure you have all the modern amenities, but also retain a pub style cafe at the front of the inn. The staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the beer was cold. I have been here almost 2 weeks and this was one of the best places I have stayed. Strongly recommend if you are passing through Aboyne. If you don’t plan on going to Aboyne, you should reconsider given the shine of this little gem…"

"Loved this area and the hotel staff! Everyone super nice and helpful. The area was great! It had many shops and some restaurants. I recommend Ruby nail salons (great pedicure and massage chairs!). I also must mention that I had an excellent massage therapy session with Suzanne at Saatva Wellness Center! As to the hotel, dining was really good! On-site was a pool and sauna. There is an elevator from ground to first floor only. I was very grateful to be able to get a first floor room as I have mobility issues. The room I had was very nice! Lovely view of other local area and neighbor garden from my room. Nice size bathroom. Beautiful outside seating area. Great breakfast and bakery offerings in the lobby. Only minor disappointment: hot tub not working in the pool area."

"Lynda was a wonderful and very helpful host. The cottage was so clean and well cared for that it looked like we were one of her first guests (though we know we were not). I have never stayed in an accommodation which was any cleaner or well cared for. Welcome basket, available picnic supplies (reusable plastic tumblers, plates and utensils), and helpful instructions for use of kitchen appliances and heating system were some of the unexpected pluses. Quiet location in a small village. Highly recommended."

"WoW, I wish we could have stayed longer! Room was spacious, house is huge and extremely comfortable. Free beverages and snacks! Breakfast was unbelievably awesome!!! The smoked salmon was the best I ever had. Thank you so much, the hosts go way above and beyond!!!!"
