  • If you are looking for a central apartment and wanting to experience historical Edinburgh then this is the place to be. This fantastic apartment is located in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh just a stones through from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. There are a great selection of pubs, restaurants, antique shops etc on your doorstep. This apartment is available for Self Catering & Holiday Lets, Short Term & Corporate Lets, City & Weekend Breaks and the Festival.

    The apartment has been stylishly decorated throughout and consists of two double bedrooms, one a very large master bedroom. The good size living room contains a large corner sofa and is open to the fully equipped brand new modern kitchen, which has a breakfast table.
    There is a winding staircase to get to the front door so the apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.
    Additional facilities included in this property consist of a large LCD TV, DVD Player, WiFi Internet access, Telephone, Microwave, Washing Machine, Hair Dryer.

This apartment was perfect for my family of 4. Plenty of space with all of the amenities in a perfect location. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment and if I return to Edinburgh would most definitely stay again.

The location is right in the middle of the Old Town and main tourist attractions, which is very convenient. The apartment is spacious with a very well equiped, and large, kitchen. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby. Naturally, the area is very busy, so lighter sleepers may want some earplugs and a sleep mask.

What a lovely apartment. It was spotless. The kitchen was well appointed and beds were so comfortable. It was very nice for five ladies.The location was perfect, so close to the "royal mile". It is definitely somewhere I would stay again. Thank you very much Gavin for the very enjoyable stay.

The property was clean and well-appointed. It lacked basic amenities like shampoo, which I must have misread that it’d be available. However, there was a washer/dryer which was handy and helpful. Had I not read previous reviews, I wouldn’t have been prepared for the 36, narrow, spiral stairs leading up to the apartment. Americans: first level does not mean ground floor. The stairs and their style should be clearly visible in the apartment description. The locale is top-notch. Right in Old town. We were there during fringe, so it was loud. I suspect it will be noisy in other months, but not as much. It did not affect our enjoyment of being in the heart of it all. This isn’t a critical review; we enjoyed our time there (comfy couches!). Just pointing out a couple things to expect.

Cannot beat this location — Right on Victoria Street/Grassmarket! Tons of bars and restaurants steps from the door. The apartment had lots of character but updated bathroom and kitchen. Plus a dryer!

Lovely old place!

This is a great place to stay to visit Old Edinburgh. I love quirky old places right in the heart of historic areas. The place is old so don’t expect a big modern house. It was a bit noisy at night but we had earplugs. It was clean, convenient, and comfortable. Loved it!

The location is incredibly well placed and Gavin gave all the informations needed, the price is very good, the appartment is a bit noisy and some things like the bathroom were just a bit unclean but nothing that bad tho. Overall a very good deal !

Fantastic Location.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Brand new bathroom which was lovely although property quite dusty (maybe due to bathroom being finished the day before?). Very central and easy to get to places on foot as long as you don’t mind a hill or two! Would definitely recommend.

Great Location!

This property was in a great location for exploring Old Town Edinburgh. It is right in the heart of shops, dining, pubs, and historical sites. My only caution would be that, because of several pubs nearby, the street noise is a bit louder late into the evening. We traveled in the off season, but during busy times I can imagine that it could be much louder and more raucous outside.

Great location on the Grass Market with many shops and restaurants. Just a short walk to the Royal Mile. Entry is though narrow steep stairs.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Comfortable and safe 2BR apt in amazing location (Victoria St and Grassmarket). Note: Apt is on 1st floor (not ground level) and entrance is up a flight of narrow/tight spiral staircase. Also, due to it's location (near many lively pubs), it can be quite noisy. The apt was ideal for our family with two teens needing separate beds. Walking distance to everything -- and the hop-on-off bus stop just across the street. Hope to visit again!

Great little apartment in the middle of the city

This place is a no frills, affordable two bedroom apt at the bottom of one of the iconic streets in Edinburgh. It can get loud at night as there are several late night clubs/bars nearby but you quickly get used to the city noises. I would definitely stay here again.

This is great and fully functional apartment right in the heart of the city. It is close to all the tourist attractions and had everything we needed to spend a comfortable few days there. It did get a little loud at the weekend due to the proximity to the center but the room at the back quiet and we knew that going in due to the great location. We will definitely look to book again next time we come to edinburgh.
