Looking out onto Milsey Bay and West Bay, the traditional seaside town of North Berwick (3.5 miles) has lovely beaches and a wealth of great places to eat and drink. From the Scottish Seabird Centre you can take a boat trip towards Bass Rock, Lamb and Craigleith to spot colonies of gannets, puffins and guillemots. Back on dry land, follow the John Muir Way or hike to North Berwick Law, an ancient volcanic hill, with other local attractions including the National Museum of Flight, Hailes Castle, Dirleton Castle and Gardens, and Preston Mill and Phantassie Doocot, all within 6 miles.

Heading upstairs you will find a refreshing shower room and the three remaining bedrooms, all with plush king-size beds – one with an en-suite shower room, while the other two can be made up as twin rooms on request when booking.
Heading outside, the large and enclosed wraparound garden has a generous lawn with ample space for younger guests to run and play, alongside a choice of seating areas including a main patio accessed from the open-plan living area and featuring a BBQ and outdoor seating, making an ideal spot for dining alfresco and enjoying the peaceful surrounding views. Off-road private parking is available for six cars.
