Great location

Good communication from owner through out. Property in ideal location and very spacious. Bedrooms delightfully quiet after a busy day sightseeing. Spiral staircase on entry could be a bit difficult for people with mobility issues but would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Exceptional location

Spectacular location - on Royal Mile, accessed via a spiral staircase in one of the historic alleys. Apartment very clean, and spacious for a city location. Maybe slightly less well fitted out and equipped than some (though as at end of year, missing glasses, mugs etc. not too surprising) - but if that is important to you, there are plenty of other apartments at 3x the price. Excellent communication from owner who really seemed to care about their guests.

Can’t beat the location

Great place to stay because it is right on the Royal Mile. Bedrooms were very quiet since they are in the back part of the apartment. Easy and quick check in using the lock box. Excellent communication with owner. Only difficult part for us was the spiral staircase getting to the apartment. Then do keep in mind my wife and I are in our 70s....

We had a fantastic time during our stay. We were there for work that was linked to the fringe festival. The location was perfect for enjoying all the fringe related festivities, sight seeing such as the castle, witches well etc. Amazing restaurants were short walking distances from the the property. The property itself was clean, super cute and charming. We landed very early and were able to drop our luggage off and were even let in earlier then expect. The communication with the owner was great and exceeded all my expectations; incredibly kind, generous and helpful. If I got to Edinburgh again I would stay here and will recommend it to friends/colleagues.

Wonderful Family Stay with our 20 year olds

Fabulous property with very thoughtful additions. Just added a brand-new bathroom which was an added bonus. Location is ideal. We had friends staying at the Radison which is a block away, we had them up for a drink and they were amazed at how big the unit was compared to where they were staying. It was really nice to have the space to casually catch up with them. Very clean and warm and welcoming decor. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. The three bedrooms were great - so our son and daughter could have a room to themselves. Beds are very comfortable. Shahid was very accommodating and thoughtful with his communications. He even had the windows cleaned while we were there. He owns the unit across the hall (which we saw) as well which would be ideal for two families or a larger group traveling together as there are two locked doors - one to the two units and then to the units themselves. The spiral steps up are a little tricky with luggage, but very normal for the area. You look down on all the action of the Royal Mile which is fun. A lovely coffee shop outside the front gate. We would all highly recommend this property and any that Shahid owned! :)

Absolutely Perfect

From the location, the cleanliness, the communication, and layout of the apartment, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. This was the best location imaginable. Close to train station, bus station, all the restaurants and shops and also where our tour bus picked us up! Excellent spot!The communication with our host was also fantastic! Very responsive with very easy to follow check in procedure. Finally, the layout was perfect for my husband, myself and two adult children. It was so fun to watch the people go by through the huge windows overlooking the Royal Mile. The bedrooms were all toward the back of the apartment which helped with any street noise. And this was by far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. You seriously can’t go wrong staying here!

Great Royal Mile location

Just what we needed! Only challenge you should know about is the winding staircase to access the apartment. About 40 concrete narrow steps with 1 landing. So pack lightly! Excellent host.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the royal mile. We were there for the Fringe Festival and could watch the street performers from our window. Communication was great and the apartment was wonderful.

Very comfortable and well located. Only challenge is the narrow winding staircase and the need to arrange parking if anyone has a car. Once in place, everything the city has to offer is within minutes walk. Property was clean, airy, bright. Thank you!
