"The faded out hospitality banners on the exterior says it all- this staff is burned out, the property in massive needs of renovations, and in general like this property hasn’t been cared for or managed properly in 20 years. Staff interactions were short/ bordering on bizarre. My husband was chastised for smoking on the casino floor AND for using the main entrance ( staff assumed he was a maintenance worker) and the cleaning crew left their supplies in our room after we didn’t request stay over service. The amenities were bare boned and lacking. The worst part though was the security and metal detectors at each entry point- doesn’t exactly scream welcome or relax."

"Got there late, deep into the night. Doors were locked, properly, signage stated the office closed at a certain time. Just when I was about to search for who to call, the nighttime attendant came out to check us in. Perfect. The coffee was great. Thank you Hometown Red Roof Inn Puyallup."

"Ive been staying here almost 2 weeks, paying good money to, because they have not been cheap due to comedians and people coming to perform, no ice in the ice machine, which is the basic amenities ha, rooms have been dirty (being cleaned by the same person) found spiders in lamps, was able to let one back outside. Had a police standoff yesterday had to wait 2 hours for a room to which the staff didn't care or offer any kind of substitutes or accommodations. I turned their towels black and green from cleaning before I could lay down and rest, so youre welcome to whomever gets those rooms, community is cool, some staff is okay, rooms are cool and basic."

"Pros: bed comfortable, looked clean, fridge, microwave, quiet at night. Cons: pool was closed! old bathroom, dingy, chipped porcelain , no shampoo/conditioner, only a tiny bar of soap, no bedside lamp, no coffee maker, floor turned my socks black when walking around, microwave didn’t turn and never got a remote that worked the tv in 2 days. Place is fine if you want cheapest stay but def no extras."

"Upon checking in we were told that the AC was not working but we would be able to open the window and could have a fan for the room. We had already paid for our room so we continued with the booking. We get up to our room and the window are screwed shut. We call and maintained comes and opens it for us to quickly realize that we are right next to a train which is unbearably loud. It was too hot in the room even with the fan and window open for us. Staff was really nice and never showed frustration with helping us, but it really affected our sleep not to have working air. Staff allowed us to move rooms away from the train which helped a bit, but overall I would not stay again."
