Thanks for considering a booking with us, and we hope you give us a chance to treat you to a lovely stay.
Note about traveling to Packwood: Please check pass information if you are visiting outside of summer months. Cayuse Pass (HWY123) and Skate Creek Rd. (FR 52) are impassable for many months even though your GPS may tell you otherwise. Cayuse Pass is a beautiful way to arrive from the Seattle area, but it is only open June - Oct. Skate Creek Rd. to and from the Nisqually entrance of Mt. Rainier is scenic as well, but is closed often in winter and even spring months. The most certain way to arrive from the Seattle and Portland areas is to go through Morton and enter on HWY 12. Scenic White Pass Highway (HWY 12) is cleared and kept open all year long. We had a great stay at the cabin! Quick and easy drive to Mt Rainer, very private, cozy, and the hot tub was great. The host was also able to accommodate an early check in and both our cat and dog.
It rained the whole time and it was great to hear the drops on the metal roof made sleeping great.the hot tub soothed all the sore muscles.we really enjoyed our stay and would go back.
Property is exatcly as advertised and has a impressively complete kitchen. We stayed here to be near white pass for a weekend of snowshowing and hot tubbing which felt great after being on the mountain. Definitely would come back in the future!
We had an amazing time visiting Mt Rainier national park and staying at this property. The property/cabin was very clean and fully stocked with intentional items and amenities. The owners thought of everything! It was so charming! The place was quiet and had plenty of outdoor seating for morning coffee/ evening times and was nestled among trees/ferns adding privacy..and the hot tub / comfy beds were an added bonus after hiking all day. The owners were very responsive and generous! We will most definitely be back.
We loved the cabin, it was pretty comfortable and fully equipped. We enjoyed the hot-tub after a short hiking. We saw eagles, deers and vultures. We will definitely come back. Thanks for everything.Gracias por la estancia
The cabin was idyllic! It was clean, well stocked & the whole family loved our 2 night stay. It was the perfect end to our Washington State road trip. We hope to return 1 day.
My wife and I loved our time here with our newborn son for our 4-year anniversary trip. The cabin worked perfectly for us, close to many hiking trails and natural areas, and was close to town for us to grab any last-second groceries. Bonus pro-tip: there's a short walk through the woods from the cabin that gets you to the river. Gorgeous area. We hope to be back again next year!
My husband and I had such a wonderful long weekend staying here! The property has everything you need plus all the extra amenities like a fire pit, hot tub, and lots of games. Close to town but far enough to feel out in nature. We would absolutely come back in the future!
Perfect place for our winter vacation. The kitchen is well supplied with everything needed for cooking. Games for the whole family for fun game nights. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels/linens. Everything is very nice and the owners are wonderfully responsive when needed. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back again!
Our second annual ski trip staying in this Chipmunk Lane gem! Your cabin is the perfect home base—well appointed, clean, cozy, and the fireplace & hot tub are highlights for the whole family. Thank you!
What a lovely place! We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Mt. Rainier and wished we had more time to enjoy the cabin. Clean, cozy yet spacious and very well appointed!
