"We had a lovely stay here and was in a great location for visiting Yorkshire. Would recommend especially for a family of 5 which can sometimes be difficult to find rooms to stay."
"I was greeted very politely by a very busy member of staff. Service was a little slow but only because it is clearer a popular venue for locals as well as travellers. My room 14 was very comfortable and clean. There is a damp patch on the ceiling outside the ensuite door.
Unfortunately i did not see any staff to show them as i left.
A very convenient place to stay right in the centre of the lovely market town. "
"Came to visit the Brew York taproom and this was a great location (we climbed through the fence to get there). Ample parking and large comfy bed. Big walk in shower. Would stay again."
"Staff was not the best example of great premier inn customer service. Building was not very clean on outside and lots of smokers directly outside entrance and very full outside trash can."
"Pleasant and welcoming could do with some a refurbishment but still has a certain charm about the place. Wishing the new owners all the very best in their new venture its definitely going to keep them busy. We would definitely come back. "
"Beautiful property, clean, tidy excellent location in a quiet small village. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and everything you need. Would definitely book again"
"The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The facilities are a bit rundown and could do with a lick of paint. The menu choice is a bit limited and the restaurant times are short. The rooms are basic but clean and other than a hairdryer everything else is provided."

"Good central spot to stay within easy walking distance to shopping area, the Shambles, the City Wall, Clifford Tower and York Minster. Nice pastries for breakfast. Parking available at the hotel and having a kitchen and free laundry facilities was a welcome addition. "
"Helpful and friendly staff. Unique hotel; modern; high quality bed and shower.
Excellent for York center.
Negative: no parking on site and had to pay extra !"

10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean and well equipped. Staff were excellent, especially Nick at the bar. Didn't try the restaurant. Hotel generally was clean and well looked after and the grounds are pleasant. In a nice area with good transport into the city, although this is walkable. Only downside was the "nominal" fee for parking was £15 per night. "
"Could have done with a night drink sachet like hot chocolate and a biscuit complimentary in room.
Staff excellent. Comfy room and quiet. Excellent breskfast choice."
