"On our latest visit to lakeside lodges we stayed in no6 Skylark lodge.The bedrooms were all clean tidy and comfortable. The outside of the lodge was generally in good condition and well presented.Now the kitchen and living/dining area is in need of some quick tlc to remedy some of the issues which are currently letting this lodge down.Firstly kitchen worktop upstand is rotten and blowing in places.General walls and ceilings need a lick of paint.Light fittings need changing.Living room settee has had its day,needs replacement seat cushions as a minimum.Ensuite bathrooms have had some work carried out but clearly not by a tradesperson as it's a poor finish.Hot tub cover is damaged and mouldy,hot tub itself is in good condition.None of these issues detracted from our stay,we had a great time and will return in the near future."

"Place was clean and tidy; pretty much like a little house. I always pre-wash all tableware/cooking things we would use for peace of mind, and after checking them out you could tell everything had been in the dishwasher but had just been sat for a while. No issues. The hot tub is spot on and clean however my only complaint would be that on the morning of our checkout, we had (i assume) their maintenance worker walking around our lodge at 8am and already draining the hot tub towards 9am. After all we could have been in it! Our check out was 10am so it just felt like they were rushing to get us out."

"We had a lovely weekend at Station House. The flat was very clean and had all the home comforts that you needed. Location is great especially for dog walking. It was a very cold weekend, however the flat was lovely and cosy. The beach is 2 mins from the flat. Great place. We will return as soon as we can."

"I had a great stay. It’s a very nice apartment. Central, immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed. Full cooking and washing facilities for short or longer stays. Big smart tv in the lounge. Friendly and easy communication with the owner who wants you to have the best stay possible. "

"Great location, clean and very responsive owner who gave us an early check in. Only complaint would be the two single beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in each one. We managed to use extra duvets the second night to make it more comfortable."
