"I felt like the staff judged us based on our skin color. We booked a room for one night and then decided to get it for another 2 nights, just in a different room. But after we checked out on the first night, the lady who works the front desk and housekeeping LITERALLY went through the garbage (that has non-see-thtough, black garbage bags) to find something thats about the size of my thumb nail . There weren't any ashes anywhere or anytype evidence that there was any smoking in the room other than what they found. So we got kicked out and they took our deposit. Wouldn't let us speak to management or anybody above them. "

"Parking was awkward with many potholes/irregularities (like most of city). Mattresses were mediocre as were pillows. Bedside outlets seemed unreliable. Tub shape had no left side grip or edge. Ice vending relatively remote. Staff was helpful and friendly. Quiet location, but few businesses nearby."

"The location is good, restaurants and shopping close by. the room was spotless, bathroom had a little mold around the bottom of the tub but not enough to warrant a bad review. The front desk staff was amazing, professional and very pleasant. I will be traveling to Duluth a few times in the future and I will definitely stay at the LaQuinta!"

"The evening staff upon check in was lovely and helpful. The room had some things previously spilt on the floor. There was chew on top of the shower surrounding. There was a metal bar extending out from under the bed. Bed was comfortable - bedding was questionable. The morning desk staff was very busy on her cell phone and did not want to be interrupted."
