"The place was dirty, smelled awful like there was smoking weeds. Carpets were dirty. Elevator inside smell bad. Homeless people were outside and also inside."

"Beds were very comfortable and clean, the room spacious and the carpet fairly new. The door in the bathroom was old and showing a lot of wear and tear. The sausages at breakfast were terribly salty as were the potatoes. Decaffeinated coffees was not offered. No grab bars in the bathroom tub. I thought the property was overpriced."

"Not that we wanted to, but the only room available on the 3rd floor was directly across from the elevator. We thought that we would be listening to the "ding" of the elevator doors as they arrived on the floor. To our pleasant surprise the "ding" of the elevator wasn't turned up to a high volume and the room doors are well insulated, such that we did not hear any "ding" of the elevator arriving. Maybe just good luck, people getting off the elevator or waiting for the elevator car to arrive, did not talk loudly so that made it nice for people in their rooms to not be hearing loud yadda yadda when the other guests were in the hallways. Two complaints that we have, is that in the free breakfast area, is that only powdered CoffeeMate was provided for the coffee. Please provide real milk or cream, either in an insulated carafe or else in the individual thimble sized cups. My husband drinks coffee so the lack of real milk or cream was important to him. For me, I don't ever drink coffee and I like to drink a real fruit juice for breakfast, such as orange juice. There was a full self-serve dispenser of cold drinks, but all "Cocktail" or "Punch" which is just cheap powered and high in sugar, which is impossible to consume. My only option was a glass of water. The bed mattress, sheets and duvets were "PERFECT"."

"We love going to Manitou Hot Springs. The water is amazing. The beds are so very comfortable. Apparently they are shortstaffed when it comes to housekeepers and there can be a long wait to check into a room. This makes it difficult as we are in our 80s and really need the room during the day for a rest after we have traveled. We have waited to get checked in as late as 5 PM. They have allowed us to use the swimming pool previous to getting a room, but it is difficult."
