"We loved staying here. The food was excellent in the restaurants on property, room was clean and spacious. One issue was the loud barking dogs who were participating in some contest next door and apparently staying at the hotel. They were very noisy at night. The pool was ICE cold, not heated at all. The hot tub was not even warm, let alone hot. However, the staff tried extra hard to find how to turn down the music around the pool bar area and they did come out and try to dust that area. I don't believe a lot of people use the pool areas right now, even though it is 80+ degrees during the day. I did have to get towels a few times due to there being only 2 in the room and I was there for 6 days. Housekeeping does not clean unless requested. More than 2 towels would be a big help and we are fine with no daily cleaning. Fine tuning some things would improve the overall but still a great place to stay."

"Wilma at the front desk was WONDERFUL! Only "issue" was the toilet handle stuck which made it run on and on. I told the morning desk clerk and she made note of it so I trust it has been taken care of. Free parking in a VERY WELL LIT garage was nice. Grounds were well kept. Beds were comfy with a lot of pillows."

"You will not be disappointed with this house. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The lake view is absolutely beautiful. The host was very pleasant and quick to respond. We are planning to possibly return during the summer time to utilize the swimming pool."

"Great one-room cabin with an excellent bathroom. Five minutes from Caddo Lake State Park. Communication with host was great. You can hear some freight trains at night but we got used to it."

"Beautiful view from the house and dock! The house itself is charmingly decorated and super clean. We didn’t cook but the kitchen is well appointed and roomy. The hosts were very welcoming and easy to reach with questions and concerns. We did have a concern about a very strong smell like mothballs in the house when we arrived and we reached out to the hosts who were responsive and going to pass the information on to the cleaners. The smell dissipated but never left and definitely needs to be addressed for future guests that are sensitive to smells. Other than that concern it is a lovely property that has been lovingly decorated and is nicely appointed."
