"Very nice place"

"The front desk clerk was super nice and very helpful! Our stay was fine except at end . I packed everything up and my husband and I turned in keys to the staff ( 2 cleaning ladies sun am) . I walked down the stairs to the car and realized I had left my sunglasses on the night stand . Ran back up the stairs (wasn’t gone three minutes tops.) When I got back to the room, the two cleaning ladies were in the room and I said I left my sunglasses on the night table and they said they hadn’t seen them. I did not argue, but I literally left my glasses on the nightstand and remembered as soon as we walked down the stairs. That quickly they were both in the room It left a sour taste in my mouth, even though they were only cheap walmart sunglasses! I would never go back there again Make sure you lock your stuff up if you do go! Very disappointed! Other than that, the location was great The breakfast consisted of muffins, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, and yogurt. I’m sorry I cannot recall the name of the front staff person that welcomed us but she was so nice!"

"The front desk representative , Sean was a five star! He was nice and super helpful. However, the first room we had the sink would not drain We unfortunately, had to move to another room, but instead of having a view on the top floor, we were in the basement first floor area. I did not ask for a compensation for the room change and none was offered. The rooms are dated . Every time you use the TV you have to go through a 5 step process of signing onto their cable and you’re unable to use any apps. I would not stay here again, but the only thing that made it good was the morning lobby representative Sean Breakfast was not bad . Good location to everything"

"Two issues: There was construction going on next door (a brand new building, so it will be going on for months!). The staff put us in the room closest to the construction noise - which started at 7:30 am. Not a crime to want to sleep in on vacation, right?! THEN, the hotel was painting all the wood balconies and they were on the other side of the room! Really? The workers were actually looking right into our room! I asked the front desk what their occupancy was before I told the staff that I wanted to move rooms. They were less than 50%! Why in the world would you not automatically think of your guests and their comfort and put them away from all construction!! They did move us, which was a better room- but we had already spent one night and had to pack up everything to move. Not convenient to say the least. I asked for some compensation and they “could not do anything because we booked with Expedia. Really? 2). My husband had a medical emergency and we asked to move our reservation by a day. We called the hotel directly and also had Expedia call them. They said everything was non-refundable and treated us with a lack of respect because we booked with a “third party”. There are lots of choices to stay- so I would choose another hotel if we go back."
