We had a lot more than we expected as far as amenities, the pictures don't do it justice! it's just a beautiful, and clean home with excellent care for guests, anything we needed, was easily accessible. The town and the people of Chabihau are wonderful and respectful. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay with a partner or family. "Great view! Location was very nice and right across from the malecon. The pool was better than expected and great for cooling off in. The staff were very friendly and especially Bernaby (Barnaby) and Julie. We loved walking to Sendero Peten Mac and making use of a mototaxista Juan who we used for an excursion to San Felipe and Las Coloradas and playa Cancunito. Juan has a mototaxi that has good shade and he was friendly and pointed out crocodiles in mangroves at the side of the road. It was only 20 minutes by mototaxi to San Felipe and 40 minutes to Las Coloradas. You can contact Juan through the hotel’s front desk staff. The posted hotel rules regarding no outside beverages or food even in rooms, seemed very unreasonable and so we ignored the rule. We did also eat and drink in the hotel restaurant area. "

"My husband and I celebrated our 41st anniversary. Our room with the view was exactly as shown and more. It was perfect! A nice surprise was breakfast on our little patio the next morning. Check in was smooth and very pleasant. We appreciated the help to book our boat tour. Not to be missed. Thank you. We hope to come back!"
