Lucy is an absolute hoot- very welcoming and full of suggestions of things to see or do. Perfect for dogs too, with a lovely enclosed garden and lots of walks from the location detailed in the information folder. Lots of lovely pubs nearby too including a local just across the way. "Right in city centre. Staff at check-in and check out and breakfast very friendly and helpful. Room a good size and clean - family room with sofa. Asked for quiet room and wasn’t disturbed by anything - faced back of hotel overlooking a small car park. Air con worked well. Nice big fluffy bath towels and good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Bed firm and comfy but you could hear springs every time you turned over or got in or out - still slept well. Breakfast had good choice of hot and cold items - waffle machine was popular. Gets very busy at weekends but only had to wait a short time to be seated. Coffee machine provided good choices and provided nice coffee. Enjoyed our stay here."
