"The room was clean with two queen beds and a small writing desk area with chair. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels, shampoo, soap, lotion. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was provided with all kinds of choices and great coffee! Staff was nice and polite! Shower floor was slippery so used hand towel on floor to solve that."

"This cabin needs some work.....like gutters and a dehumidifier in the crawlspace. It smells musty and like dog. There is a pet odor eliminator on the living room table. The moisture problem underneath the house is making the dog smell worse. It obviously has a moisture issue in the crawl space because the hardwood floor is cupping and the floor in warping. The mattress should probably be replaced and my wife got 3 flea bites afte laying on the couch. The fridge is leaking water under the front doors on to the floor. The hot tub probably needed draining as well. The hot tub was gritty just under the surface of the water and it was cloudy. The cooktop had a greasy film like it was wiped with a dirty rag. I never received an email or VRBO notice from the host so I called him and he told me where the key was a said he had sent an email but I checked my spam folder. I messaged him on VRBO messaging that we had left on Sunday and no acknowledgement. I sent him a message two days ago, outlining the issues with the cabin and how to fix them. ZERO acknowledgement or feedback. Most hosts have been happy and receptive to our observations and suggestions on how to make their property better. Not this time, I guess. This is probably the 25th cabin rental we have rented in Mentone and this one was not among the best by far. I hope the host corrects the issues and gets back on track."

"Everyone was friendly. Building was clean garden outside was kept well. Parking was easy and felt safe. Convenient to shopping and many good choices. Pool area may need better ventilation it was very hit in there. With the exposed pipes it gave the room a rusty smell. Pool was enjoyable. Good temperature and clean. "

"This place is a absolute jewel. I cant say enough great things about it. Immaculately clean, decorated beautifully. Beds were amazing and hottub was my favorite. Also you can walk down to creek as welllas sit outdoors and grill …. and sit on the fromt porch for coffee and theres wven a firepit although we didnt havw time to enjoy it Also the kitchen was well stocked with more than we needed ! The water presdure for the shower was perfect as well. ! Im sorry we had not planned to stay longer but we definitely plan to come agan and bring our children and dog ! Amazing stay !"

"The remodel was very nice but I cannot say the same for the bathroom. The shower doors were dirty with brown gunk between the shower doors. Unless you’re planning on using their soap and shampoo, you are out of luck. There are no dishes or landings for any of your personal stuff inside the shower. We were given 2 half rolls of toilet tissue and an empty box for Kleenex. Just poor housekeeping. "
