Perfect for staying for badminton horse trials, 20mins away from the park. It has all the amenities you could ask for and super roomy for a 1 bed cottage. "This pictures honestly don’t do this place justice… a stunning and spacious home with some beautiful details. Super clean, decorated beautifully with towels, everything you could need in the kitchen, lovely beds, shower gel… The host was extremely helpful after having some issues with a different site and switching over to vrbo. Great communication from start to finish with a super friendly and helpful person! A great central location on a safe road with registered parking, plenty of things...

"Sean was the best host. So helpful. He suggested dinner at a great pub in town. The house was clean and well stocked - even some food in the kitchen. The garden was charming. Absolutely no complaints at all. Will definitely return if we return to this part of England."

"Room was "clean" but the general condition of the kitchen & bathroom was not good. Damp & mouldy door frames, smells damp, curtain blind would only half shut. Whatever room was above mine had someone who stomped around & sounded like they were dragging furniture every night until around midnight. Staff were friendly to deal with via email but communication was patchy in regards to adding a towel to my room & feedback in regards to the condition of the room. "We had a wonderful five nights in top barn! The views are incredible the barn is small but cosy. Cathy was great stayed in touch, and we loved the local gifts left as well. We visited lots of castles, explored the beautiful Wye Valley and walked some of Offa's way too. Highly recommend."

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again"

Amazingly comfortable bed! Great bathroom!
"The night staff was very friendly and had been made aware of our very late arrival so at least the communication and note taking works. The room was lovely, an amazing large and very comfortable bed. The shower was decent and the bathroom was lovely and modern. Only niggle was just one cup left in the room when the booking was for 2 people so we had to go request another cup. You only get one pillow each so if you need more, again you need to ask staff as there isn’t extras in the room. Overall, a great stop off for one night and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. "
