This crisp and clean 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo (Unit 2C) is all about its exceptional location in the heart of downtown Durango. Walk to all downtown area restaurants, shops and entertainment, or explore the nearby trails with 1000+ acres of City owned open space featuring mountain biking and hiking trails only minutes away. It is located immediately next to East by Southwest restaurant, one of Durango's finest, and only one block from the famous Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot and Durango's downtown movie theater.

Lifestyle in this condo is like staying at a luxury resort with dining and entertainment options of the highest quality just a short walk out the front door. This Property features a high-end luxury finish with ash wood flooring throughout, 4K flat screen televisions in the living room and both bedrooms all with Roku and YouTubeTV, American Leather pull-out sleeper sofa with queen size Premier Mattress, fully appointed kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The building has electronic security and elevator access to all levels with secure, fully-enclosed underground parking for two vehicles. Simply park your car and leave it there while you walk outside to enjoy all the Durango has to offer!

Master Bedroom - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (main floor)
2nd Bedroom - Queen with TV and attached bath (main level)
Main Living Space - Queen pull out sofa

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units in the Mears Building, are NOT pet friendly.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Wonderful accomodations

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mears House. The condo was very nicely layed out, easy to get to, secure and within walking distance to downtown for shopping and the train.

Durango stay

Great location and excellent communication from property management. The apartment was spotless and well stocked. Our elderly mother found it difficult to get into the high bed in the small bedroom which was made more difficult by the nearest light being too far away from the bed, so it would have been nice to have a small lamp on the bedside table so she didn’t have to climb in the dark. Besides the bed issue, our stay was great!

Great getaway in an awesome location.

Great property and the dedicated covered parking is awesome! Only reason for 4 stars is the upstairs neighbors were loud when walking around and their kid ran laps back and forth from 6am untill 11pm (while we were inside)

We loved staying at this apartment in Downtown Durango! It was super cozy during the cold weather and easy to access. Great kitchen space for guests who love to cook! We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect location

We really appreciated being so close to Main Street, the train, and our fav restaurants. The property manager was amazing with great communication and kindness. The place was very clean and had all the right things in the kitchen too cook.

I Would Definitely Stay Here Again

Beautiful clean property in a great location. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and will be renting it again if we come back to the area. The only thing I would warn against is that the parking is a little tight so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large vehicle.

The Condo was beautiful and so convenient to downtown. Could have used a little more instruction on the lock into the condo and directions to turn the tv on. It was neat and clean, had everything we needed. We totally enjoyed our stay!
