    There are four bedrooms in Great Blasket View. Off the main entrance hall there are two doubles with ensuites and a twin room. Adjoining the main living area there is another double bedroom with an ensuite. All the bedrooms have minimalist fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, lamps and high quality linen and soft furnishings.

    Bathrooms
    There are four bathrooms, three ensuites each with a shower, sink and toilet off the double bedrooms and then a family bathroom opposite the twin room with a jacuzzi bath, sink, toilet and shower.

    Living area
    Great Blasket View has a large open plan living area with a high vaulted ceiling that includes the lounge, kitchen and diner. The lounge has the WOW factor with a high wall of traditional stonework, a wood burning stove, snug leather couches and wonderful views. The contemporary kitchen has a double oven with an electric hob, a large double fridge with ice maker, microwave, kettle, toaster and oven. The dining area is largely glass so flooded with light and a super sized natural wood table.

Great Blasket - Amazing View

If you’re looking for a place that is a little out of the way but still accessible to Dingle, you can’t beat this location! The views from the front window of the Great Blasket Islands are perfect.

This is a beautiful property, bright, spacious and the location is absolutely spectacular!The views here are quite stunning, looking out at the Blasket Islands and the surrounding green landscape sweeping down to the ocean cliffs. It was the perfect place to have a family gathering 3 couples for a very special trip to the Dingle peninsula that we’ve been dreaming about for a long time. Can’t imagine a better place for our time together in Ireland.It was great to have bedrooms for each couple, all with an ensuite bathroom, to give everyone plenty of privacy.The kitchen was nicely equipped so we could cook when we felt like staying in, but it was also lovely to go right down the road to Kruegers Pub for drinks, food, and amazing views.The property manager was lovely and responsive to all our questions as well as the owners.Our only suggestion would be about the beds, which were not as comfortablerather hard as we would have liked. This could be remedied very simply by adding mattress toppers. Just the final touch to match the quality of the rest of the house.We will always feel so grateful & happy for the wonderful time we had at the Blasket Island house and the memories we shared there.

Disappointed

The setting for the home is beautiful! However, we found the sitting area to be inadequate for 8 adults. There was only seating for 7 - had to bring over a dining room chair for 8th person (not comfortable for very long). There was no coffee tables in front of love seat or sofa - no where to put drinks or snacks. So we carried over bench from dining room every night. Ridiculous! Need hooks in bathrooms for towels. Need luggage benches in bedrooms since there are no dressers and its beastly to bend over to the floor every day to sort through suitcases. The kitchen needs more silverware for a group this size. 7 spoons! Spatulas and other cooking utensils would be super. Loved the laundry room.

Amazing house!

We had such a lovely time at your house-we hated to leave! We absolutely fell in love with the Dingle Peninsula, and one of the best views from our trip was five minutes down the road!

Family memories. . .

This was a lovely home which met all of our needs. Spectacular views and a good size for our family. Good communication with the property manager to resolve a couple of small issues. We stayed for a week and found the property to be reasonably priced. Would happily stay at Great Blasket View again if in the area. The location provided good access to enjoying all of the the Slea Head Drive area, not just Dingle.
