"The motel was directly across the street from the Royal Gorge Train Depot...easily walkable, although there is also lots of free parking at the Depot. Several restaurants also in walking distance, The room has been updated and was very nice. The manager gave us a late checkout of an extra hour to accommodate our schedule. Would be very pleased to stay here again!"

"This was our second stay here. We love the quiet and secluded area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching hummingbirds and had a few deer pass through as well. We also enjoyed grilling and playing board games in the evenings. We like the location as we go to Salida, white water rafting and hit a few trails on the sxs. We will be back!"

"This is a wonderful property near Westclliff. It is clean and well stocked. The view is incredible. You can see the sunrise over the mountains from the master bedroom. There is a wrap around porch that has beautiful mountain views all around. Very private space. The host was very responsive with all my questions. I highly recommend this rental."

"Our stay at Richard’s place in Westcliffe was wonderful! The property is stunning and clearly well-tended to. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for our friends wedding. We came from the east coast so this quiet getaway, unplugged, enjoying the creek and scenery was better than we even expected. Due to the wildfires we were not able to utilize the grill or fire table but that did not put a damper on the stay at all— the kitchen is perfect and well-equipped. The stargazing in this area is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! I would absolutely come back and recommend this home for your trip!"
