"A Beautiful Cabin, Wonderful Hosts, and an Unforgettable Anniversary!My wife and I chose this beautiful Colorado log cabin to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect getaway!From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the cabin's warmth, rustic charm, and attention to detail. The beautiful log construction, inviting furnishings, and cozy wood-burning stove created a truly authentic mountain retreat.Outside, the peaceful surroundings, towering pines, covered porch, and breathtaking views of snow-covered mountains made the setting absolutely spectacular. It was the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and appreciate God's beautiful creation.But what truly made our stay exceptional was our hosts! John welcomed us warmly, helped unload our luggage, gave us a personal tour, and offered wonderful suggestions for exploring the area. Beyond their hospitality, we discovered a genuine spiritual connection with our hosts that made our visit even more meaningful.We came to celebrate a special milestone and left with beautiful memories, grateful hearts, and new friendships.We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. We can't wait to return! Five stars simply aren't enough!"

"Exceptionally clean cabin!!! Well off the road with no visible neighbors made it perfect for hiding away for a few days. The sunroom with the propane fireplace was absolutely perfect for keeping the cabin warm and cozying up next to in very comfortable recliners. Kitchen was well stocked, certainly usable with the food that we brought… I thought I had read that there was a grill, but that was not the case; however plenty of pots and pans so that we could improvise and cook inside.Overall, it was beautiful setting and very, very quiet! We got to hear a rooster crow in the morning and cows mooing all day long… Exactly what we needed to get away from the city noise.We definitely will be back and thank you both so much for sharing your little hideaway with us!!!"

"Nothing but superlatives to report about the cabin. Pete is an involved host, and we were at the cabin when the aspen fall colors were near peak. Warm autumn days with blue skies and a touch of snow on the higher peaks. Cabin is well appointed and the host has anticipated most every need. The instructions in the binder are straightforward. We felt at home right away. Cabin is sited about 10 miles from Westcliffe, and the route guidance is easy to follow. The Starlink wifi is robust even with several tablets using the internet. Ample bandwith.Easy drive back to Westcliffe to pick up additional groceries or anything wanted.Really glad we booked this place. The week flew by. Deer make the occasional visit. Didn't realize the deck was trimmed with fairy lights until midweek."

"The country road was very quiet, secluded, and beautiful. The house was well furnished and clean. However Google could not find the address. Apple Maps did locate it correctly. Some directions from Westcliffe in the welcome letter would have given me more confidence."
