"We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house was lovely, very comfortable, and smelled like a spa when we arrived. I especially appreciated the owner's environmentally friendly approach, including saving food scraps for compost. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, and the thoughtful extras made a big difference. I was particularly grateful for the coffee and Ziploc bags that were provided. After being on a 10-day trip, I had run out of coffee and didn't want to purchase an entire new bag for just our last two days; that small touch was greatly appreciated.The host was excellent at communicating and made everything easy and stress-free.The only thing worth noting is that the Vrbo listing states that Great Sand Dunes National Park is about an 18-minute drive away, which was not accurate during our stay. The drive was closer to an hour. However, this is more of a listing issue than a problem with the home itself.Overall, this was a lovely place to stay, and we would happily return."

"This cabin was a delight. The views were amazing, I loved sitting on the front porch reading and listening to all of the birds. And the Milky Way did peak out for a bit at night! The cabin itself was the cleanest and best decorated cabin I've ever seen or stayed in! It was like something out of a magazine. It was a wonderful weekend and the hosts were wonderful and accommodating."

"What a lovely place to stay! We enjoyed every second we we there. The place was spotless and only about 20ish minutes out of Westcliffe. It is a dark sky community and the view of the stars was AMAZING! It was the perfect place for just the two of us!"

"Very nice and relaxing place to stay. I enjoyed sitting on the swing by the creek in the mornings. There are several nice trails in the area for hiking; some can be pretty strenuous. There was quite a bit of rain the last couple days of our stay, but there are some games at the cabin to play and we watched a couple movies. We grilled several nights on the gas grill. There is also a gas fire-pit table that I meant to try out, but I kept finding myself pulled to the swing by the creek. We did not need anything during our stay, but I'm sure Richard would have responded quickly if we had needed anything. Definitely a nice place to stay and relax."

"Absolutely an amazing property. Very clean, everything that we needed to make our stay even better was there. Amazing views of Aspens and Spread Eagle peak. Loved waking up to the sound of the creek running through the property. We went on a 6 mile hike up to the Lake of the clouds and it was incredible. Spectacular views Along the trail. Really hope we will be able to rent this cabin again in the near future. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves the mountains."
