"This is such a sweet gem of a cottage tucked into a quiet and safe neighborhood. I was in Newberg for a long weekend class and my husband was with me. This location was only a few minutes drive for me and was a perfect central spot for my husband to drive out for beautiful hikes. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking light meals and the bottle of Pinot Noir from the owner was a lovely touch. We will definitely stay here again if we return."

"We had a perfect stay at White Walnut Estate. The property and view over the vineyard were incredible. It was very peaceful and private, but the location was also convenient to wineries and dinner. This is a great property if looking for a quite retreat with your significant other."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Old Barn! We had close access to everything, and it was nice to come "home" to a quite and relaxing place. I'm giving only a 4 star rating because it's lacking bathroom facility on second floor with the master bedroom."

"Cottage is cozy for sure. Kitchen and living room on main floor are nicely sized. The queen bedroom also on the main floor is comfortably cozy. The 12 steps up to the 2 twin bedroom [which is definitely cozy] and king bedroom [which is very roomy] are very steep [which was unexpected]. The yard is nicely kept. The deck could definitely use some lawn chairs. We enjoyed our stay while visiting with family for our cousins reunion."

"My two daughters and myself stayed a few nights here and we fell in love with this cottage. It’s beautiful and quiet. The owners have definitely made sure you have everything you need. I also need to say that when we flew in from Utah we had to hang out in town for a couple hours before we could check in, Totally no big deal. "It was a solo trip and I enjoyed all the extra touches that the cottage provided. I was able to relax, feel safe and the surrounding area was beautiful. Even the mornings I had to work I didn’t mind because the cottage was so cute. There is hiking close by that the host pointed out that I appreciated. I would definitely like to come back!"

"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....

"A very tranquil and relaxing setting just a few miles from downtown. The owners were very nice and all the little touches like fresh baked cookies was welcoming. It was very comfortable and homey, which is what my wife wanted. There is no TV or closet per se for clothes so if you really want to unwind this is a good place to do it."

"Several of the reclaimers in the couches are broken. The hot u. Must have a small leak. We filled it up every night after we used it. One of the small coffee tables are also broken. The master shower was not available for use. We made cupcakes and left the muffin pan for others to use,"
