"Our stay at Silver Lake was wonderful, Hanna & John were perfect hosts and have done a great job with renovating both the hotel and The Jolly Roger! The room was spacious and well appointed with all needs met. The newly added rockers and side tables on the porch were enjoyable and the resort Bicycles made getting around a fun experience."

"My brother and I recently stayed at the Bask Hotel, and we had an absolutely fantastic time from start to finish! Right when you walk in, you are greeted by the most beautiful lobby—it is so welcoming and instantly puts you in vacation mode. On a rainy Saturday when the wind was high outside, we actually hung out in the lobby and made great use of the ample seating, comfy accent chairs, and fancy couches. We also loved sitting out on the porch in the rocking chairs when the weather permitted, just relaxing and taking in the atmosphere. The entire hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the incredible staff. Everyone was so warm and helpful, but we have to give a special shout-out to Amanda! She is bright, bubbly, and so fun-loving, and her amazing energy made us feel right at home. We can't wait to come back. Thank you, Bask Hotel (and Amanda!), for an amazing getaway!"

"We were sooo happy with our stay at Blackbeard. The best cleaning I have seen in a long time and very friendly and helpful staff. Shout out to Cynthia ! It’s in a great area on the island. The shower was hot and good pressure. Beds weren't bad at all. I will choose there again next time 100%%%. We didn’t utilize the pool Because it was freezing cold Water but it was nice and clean area."

"This is a beautiful immaculately kept house and property. The hosts Richard and Brenda could not be kinder and were so helpful in answering questions . It is a perfect quiet secluded sanctuary on the water , .but not a far drive from the town of Beaufort or the ferry to Cape lookout. I had a wonderful stay there and I can't wait to go back. This place is a treasure."

"The outlets in the loft only work if the light is on so you are unable to use the fan/charge phones etc. unless the lights are on. I would recommend bringing a battery powered fan it can get quite hot up there at night even with the AC on. Overall good experience!"
