"We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the accommodation and the fact that the bed was far too narrow for two adults. Even though the staff was kind, these issues made our stay uncomfortable."
"The sample photos must be a few years old, because the building façade and our room were already getting on in years. In our bathroom there were many black mold stains or something like mold on the joints. Something like that really shouldn't be there. But the food and staff were very friendly and nice. I think it's just a practical hotel to start the West Highland Way from, as we did after a very short stay. But not a feel-good vacation spot.

"We loved this place! It was clean amd spacious, the staff were soooo helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was the best we had during our time in Scotland. The train station is less than a block away. It was a fabulous stay!"

"We were rather unfortunate in that a drunk older couple were through the wall to us, shouting obscenities' and making a lot of noise. George, the general manager could not have handled it any better.
I would highly recommend. "
"The best thing about this stay is the location inside a country park which after 5pm when the day visitors have gone, becomes your own faboulous waterfall filled back garden. Flat is wram and clean with nice touches, although the image does suggest a flat with floor to ceiling windows. East barn is a loft apartment, with only velux windows in the vaulted roof. The flat is positioned over a car port. It was still delightful but we were expecting a more traditional room with windows in the walls."
