"We were locked out of the building for quite some time. We were given a staff code to finally get in which meant we had access to all rooms. Kinda scary if you think about it.Their is no staff on site so everything is done by phone. Then our reservation was wrong, and the bed was saggy. Woke up with a back ache. If you are looking for warm and friendly this is not for you. "

Beacon Pointe on Lake Superior
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was beautiful and the staff was AMAZING! The room was top notch with a breathtaking view of Lake Superior! The bed was comfortable, the shower and jacuzzi tub combo was high tech and relaxing! The kitchenette and fireplace made it feel like home and helped unwind after a day of hiking the falls. Everything was immaculate and up to date. Absolutely LOVED IT! In fact we didn’t want to leave! "
"We loved staying at the Canal Park Lodge! The Lakeview room had a great view, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast! I walked to the lift bridge, also very convenient to many restaurants and shops. The staff was so friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel staff were absolutely amazing especially a gentleman name Vern . He was so sweet to our toddler. He made our toddler’s first day so welcoming and usually my toddler does not hug strangers but there was something about him that our toddler was so comfortable with that he gave him three hugs in one night. Thank you Vern & thank you to the amazing staff. "
