"The room was spotless and very comfortable. Obviously the Hotel is in transition. By and by rooms are being prepared to welcome guests. Only 11 rooms are available to book at this point. The price per room is unbelievably low. Especially since the electricity bill must be enormous. The hotel was overheated and lights were on in almost every hall, lounge and room and stayed on during the night. Heating as well as the lights. No consideration was given to the ecological impact. "

"The house was lovely as was the gardens. As we stayed 6 nights we were upgraded to the room with the 4 poster bed. Which was lovely. Te breakfast was freshly made every morning from local sourced producers. The hosts, Lee and Lyn were very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I could find fault with was the shower. The hot water took ages to come through and was not powerful enough. Otherwise a lovely place to stay. "
