Top Dublin Hotel Reviews

Point A Dublin Parnell Street
10/10 Excellent
"Comfortable rooms"

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport
2/10 Terrible
"I stayed there in September and it was fine, so I booked it again for the current trip. When making the reservation I specifically requested to pay at the hotel, yet they charged my card in advance. At 11:30pm, as I was about to fall asleep I heard the door open. I screamed and called the front desk, the guy who answered the phone said, very casually, that the bell boy entered the wrong room by accident. He was completely unapologetic and couldn’t care less about the lack of security. When I went to check out and asked about my stay, I said that it was terrible. The girl, who clearly knew about the break in the night before, did apologize and said she reimburse me for half of the amount charged. Let’s hope I get it. Also, it is a huge hotel and the wait for the elevators is super long. You need to wait for a long time to be able to get in the elevator so if you are in a rush to make it to a flight you would need to line up for the elevators early."

Clayton Hotel Burlington Road
10/10 Excellent
"This is a great location! Quiet neighborhood, SPAR just around the corner, bus stop right out front. Staff was wonderfully friendly, and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful. Room had all that was necessary."

Staycity Aparthotels, Dublin, City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very large hotel with many tour groups. It is furnished to a high standard and staff are unfailingly helpful. However there are a couple of design features which are annoying: on several floors the three guest lifts are only accessible by walking past 40 or 50 other rooms and fighting one's way to the excellent laundry room through a crowded dining room is not ideal."

Arlington Hotel O'Connell Bridge
8/10 Good
"It was nice felt slightly old but the room was nice some staff were slightly rude compared to other establishments. Overall I would stay there again"

Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin
6/10 Okay
"The AC didn’t work the entire time we were there despite calling about it. The walk to our room was like a maze and with luggage, it was quite a haul."

Ruby Molly Hotel Dublin by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"A funky, well appointed room, close to everything, very walkable, very good, friendly staff, nothing was a problem."

The Hendrick Smithfield
10/10 Excellent
"A very comfortable stay, easy to travel around, some great spots nearby!"

Marlin Hotel Stephens Green
6/10 Okay
"I originally booked the "cozy king" room for my wife and I. This was a huge mistake. This room is definitely not suitable for 2 guests staying a week as we were. The only storage is under the bed. No luggage racks so one must trip over luggage. The next issue to be aware of which is not evident in the online pictures is that you must enter and exit the bed from the foot. This is a safety issue. The TV is facing the side of the bed so I would not plan on watching. We did ask for a different room and that was suitable. A few more issues. One, when we got to our new room, we noticed our phone and the chromecast were not working. The staff wrote the issues down and said maintenance would check it out. At checkout, those issues were still not corrected. While laundry is available, avoid! It is 8 euros to wash and 10 to dry. However, the dryer was awful and we ran the dryer 3 times for one load and still the clothes were not dry. Again, we notified staff and they told us maintenance would fix. Regardless, we should not be charged 18 euros to do a load of laundry! We were given the offer of a "free" dryer use, but by that time, other people had already started their loads. I was offered 65 euros to not give a 3 star review from the manager when I posted to another review site. They would rather pay people off than to fix their issues so they can have a great rating without earning it!"
