"This was my first time in Ireland and I would definitely recommend staying here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I traveled to Ireland/Dublin mostly for the Guinness and didn't know the history of the hotel I stayed in!! Beautiful place. Next to a couple of bus stops and convenience stores. The bar and restaurants on site are splendid. The views are picturesque. My room was very tidy. The bathroom was spotless. I do also recommend getting the breakfast option. The food was delicious. "A delight of a hotel. Lovely staff, who are friendly and attentive, which creates a great atmosphere. Beautifully renovated hotel with quirky features that make you smile. Lovely room - snug but with everything you need. David, the manager, does an exceptional job of welcoming guests and is very visible. Taking dinner at the hotel is a must - the dishes created by Cian, the head chef, are outstanding. The haddock fish and chips were the best I’ve ever tasted (and I’m English!) and I would also highly recommend the Beef and Guinness Pithivier (French pie) with it’s light but delicious pastry, melt in the mouth beef and rich and deep bone broth. Even the simple side dish of carrots was delicious. Saiful, our server, was attentive, despite how busy the restaurant was (and probably always is), very cheerful and helpfully recommended dishes to us. We will definitely return to this hotel - the location is also excellent - but it’s all about the feel of the hotel that David, Cian and all the staff enhance with their attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the hotel and for giving customers the best experience they can in all aspects of their stay. I cannot recommend the hotel more highly."
