"Excellent breakfast. This property walks the talk re:ecology. We did not have our room serviced (fresh towels) during our short stay. (our choice) Many properties say they are "green" but their housekeeping staff will change towels daily. We also appreciated the strip at the bottom of the doors to block hallway light. Ingenious! We were able to access our room a bit early and the front desk staff coordinated 3 separate reservations that allowed us to stay in one room instead of moving. This was most appreciated. Outstanding property and staff!"

"This is our 2nd stay at the Ashling Hotel. We like the location being close to Heuston train station as well as the trams. Breakfast buffet had lots of options. Our room was ready when we checked in early and the staff made us feel welcomed. "

"The hotel is marketed as 3-star and this is accurate. The bed was comfortable and the room clean, with a good shower. However, the radiators were on full blast when we arrived late at night, meaning that night's sleep was difficult, this was combined with the loud traffic from the nearby traffic light junction. The breakfast on offer however, was the most disappointing. As we didn't book directly we were to be charged €10 each for breakfast. This in itself was not a problem, however the breakfast on offer was extremely poor. A couple of small pastries, muffins, cheese and ham, was all that was available alongside standard cereal. This was not worth the money and it is highly suggested to visit local stores for a cheaper and better breakfast."
