The suite I stayed in with my family was spacious, clean and quiet with an excellent view of downtown Dubai. The breakfast and the iftar dinner at the restaurant is delicious. This hotel is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The service is outstanding. The rooftop pool is one of the nicest ones we have ever seen at a hotel. We hope to come back for a vacation again soon.

I was in the middle of renewing my Emirates ids and because of that i only had my driver's license available as my valid form of id (my company holds our passports until the ids are issued), so they wouldn't let me check in. It ruined my entire weekend that was planned in Dubai with friends that flew all the way from the States to visit. Very disappointed that no accommodation could be made with the hotel.

Hotel location was great and walking distance to Dubai Mall. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet.👍 The room was fine but the 2 bed side tables are very small and only one side has outlet for charging phones. Also the room light switches are very confusing.

I had an amazing stay at Sofitel with my family. The staff were very helpful. There was a range of breakfast choices. We had a beautiful view of Burj Khalifa. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Dubai Mall which is through the air conditioned metro link. I would highly recommend.

NYE Blast
Checked in on New Year's Eve when pretty much all traffic was shut down. The hotel staff was very welcoming and gracious. Amazing hotel with a big and delicious breakfast. Walking distance to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. They have a couple restaurants and nightclub on premise. Definitely a MUST stay in Dubai.

My wife and I recently returned from our vacation in Dubai. We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Downtown Dubai. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The entire reception team and breakfast staff were amazing. I would like to highlight a few people who made our stay pleasant. Nebil, Si Thu, Carlo, Vesta, Winnie, Joy, May and Mustafa. We specifically traveled to Dubai to celebrate the New Year, and we were delighted to learn about the hotel hosting a New Year’s Eve Gala. The event was magnificent, down to every detail! The entire staff worked diligently to put on such an amazing event! There was a world-class spread to satisfy everyone’s taste palate! We loved the entire event! Thank you for a wonderful stay and the unforgettable New Year’s celebration!

Staffs are well trained in the lobby and front of the hotel. Every one in the hotel, breakast, lobby, front of the hotel were fantastic.

The hotel rooms are nice. However there are shady activities with this hotel that make it not so family friendly. There is a nightclub near the pool that blasts music until 4 am and you can hear it from the rooms all the way in the 23rd floor where I was staying
