"Overall, we had a great stay! The house was clean, with the exception of a few bug intruders that might just be unavoidable with such a great wooded location. The solo stove provided made for a great opportunity to make s'mores and enjoy a fire outdoors one evening. "It started with Carol and Pete bring us the most delicious home made scones for our breakfast for the next three mornings. The house was so beautiful and well equipped for all your needs. The grounds are well maintained and are the home to donkeys, chickens ( that will provide you with fresh eggs) emus & some neighbors cows.The atmosphere is nothing but peaceful. The only bad part of the weekend was having to leave, but we plan and hope to return."

"This place was amazing! It has such a sense of calm and peace and was perfect for our family get-together. The bedrooms were spacious. We appreciated the snacks and whoopie pies provided. Derrick responded quickly to our questions about some light switches. It was convenient to our sightseeing adventures in the Lancaster area. Beautiful setting with the horse farm next door and the Amish buggies going by. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Beautiful quaint property with many amenities and very close to downtown Lancaster and Tanger outlets while maintaining the authentic Amish charm. The hosts were super friendly. The family dog, Ellie, was super sweet and greeted us every day while playing outside. There is a lot to do that don't require screens, so it provided a nice break from the technology dominated lives we all live these days. Everything was ad advertised. "This is a beautiful home with beautiful views in a quiet area of Strasburg. We loved the sun room and porch views. We enjoyed watching the many birds in the area. One thing that might need to be considered before booking is that there are very steep stairs in the home and an unlevel pathway to the front door. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the right home for you."

"This is a beautiful renovation of an old building. Very clean and nicely decorated. I don't think i fully grasped the sleeping arrangements from the listing. From the pics the 2 twins in the office appeared to be 2 twins together as if made up as a king. Its a day bed and a trundle. Which is fine the listing says twins and a queen. If you get up at all during the night I would not recommend this. It requires climbing up and down a ladder, which I am physically able to do easily but in the dark...
