Idyllic Riverfront Cottage
The cottage was fantastic - we had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving weekend (except great weather, lol, but it wasn't too bad). Beds were comfy, the place was super clean and the view out the large front windows was spectacular. We were visited daily by a giant great blue heron - my totem animal! No complaints whatsoever. Would love to go back in the spring.

Isn't it great how those picture windows let us enjoy the Misi-Ziibi in all kinds of weather? It was so special to read that the blue heron is your totem animal and that Mr. Blue visited you every day! Each season has it's own beauty so hopefully we can welcome you back to visit in the spring.

Great getaway!
This river house is exactly as listed and more. Very clean. Peaceful inside and outside. Has everything we needed and did the soul good.

Relaxing Cottage
The cottage is as described,, very clean and has everything you need. The location on the river is calm and allows great bird watching.Found the helpful hints booklet to be very useful. Love the town of Merrickville. 5 stars!

Lovely cottage
Super peaceful cottage on the river. Loved seeing the great blue heron every morning and evening. My pup, Kaia, felt very comfortable here too and loved the hospitality shown to her from Jack. Would recommend and would love to stay again sometime!

Cottage was very welcoming. Especially appreciated that there was coffee since we were only staying 2 nights. Bed was very comfortable. Also appreciated that menus fir local restaurants were provided. I would stay here again!

Anniversary vacation
